Inogen One has labeled each of the six flow settings to provide a guideline for matching the setting of the Inogen Rove 6 to the continuous flow oxygen prescription issued by the healthcare provider. The setting should be fine-tuned based on the patient s breathing rate and other physiologic factors. Inogen and Main Clinic Supply suggest the patient check their blood oxygen levels using a pulse oximeter.  Then the patient can watch and adjust the oxygen flow setting in different situations; for example, if you are sitting and relaxing, you most likely can adjust the oxygen setting down, and when taking a brisk walk, you most likely will need to adjust to a higher oxygen setting.
